I am currently the Principal Investigator for the Oxford site of the EPAD (European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia) Consortium which is establishing a pan-European network of Trial Delivery Centres to undertake Proof of Concept secondary trials for prevention of Alzheimer’s dementia. I am also PI on the New Therapeutics in Alzheimer’s Disease (NTAD), Brains for Dementia Research (BDR) and 7Tesla MRI Scanning in Alzheimer’s disease and Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration studies and Chief Investigator on the Deep and Frequent Phenotyping (DFP) and MIcroglial CSF1R in Alzheimer’s Disease (MICAD) studies. I am co-lead for the Clinical Trials section of Oxford Translational Neuroscience and Dementia Research Group and NIHR Dementia and Mental Health Lead for the Thames Valley and South Midlands Clinical Research Network.
