Dr Ursula Kellett has extensive experience in aged care practice, higher education and research in Australia and the United Kingdom. She has a research and publication record in the areas of families' caring for older relatives in community and residential settings, biographical approaches to dementia care, staff-family participatory approaches to dementia care, loneliness, social engagement and quality of life. She is a current Research Ethics Advisor on the Griffith University, Human Research Ethics Committee representing Nursing & Midwifery and the Health Group. Dr Kellett is an experienced research supervisor and examiner having successfully supervised both masters and PhD students to completion over the past 2 decades. She is an international reviewer for a range of reputable journals in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. Dr Kellett has held numerous executive and advisory roles on professional committees and government taskforces as an aged care nursing specialist. She has extensive academic experience as a Director of Postgraduate Programs, Research Convenor for the Master of Health Care Research and Gerontology Convenor for the Master of Advanced Practice program.
