Trang Ngoc Cao

Trang Ngoc Cao (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in electronics and telecommunications from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Vietnam, in 2012, and the M.S. degree in electronics and radio engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2015. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the University of Melbourne, Australia. From 2018 to 2019, she was a Visiting Research Scholar with the Friedrich–Alexander University of Erlangen–Nuremberg, Germany. Her research interests are in communications theory, information theory, and statistical signal processing with a focus on molecular communications. She received several awards, including the Student Travel Grants for attending the IEEE International Conference on Communications in 2019, the Best Poster Award from the Australian Communication Theory Workshop in 2019, and the Diane Lemaire Scholarship from the Melbourne School of Engineering in 2018.
