个人简介
Tom Mladenov received his M.S. in Electronics Engineering from KU Leuven University in Leuven, Belgium in 2018. He worked as Telescope Instrumentation Engineer at KU Leuven and was involved in projects not limited to: the European Extremely Large Telescope and the BlackGEM telescope array in Chili and focused on cryogenic detector control systems and CubeSat optical payloads. Prior to his position at KU Leuven, he was part of the ESA REXUS/BEXUS programme where he acted as Electronics Engineer. As part of this project he designed RF circuitry for a solid-state diamond-based Quantum magnetometer, which was later launched and installed in the International Space Station in August 2021 (SpaceX CRS-23). After his time at KU Leuven, he joined the European Space Agency as a YGT Mission Operations Concepts Engineer in 2019. During his 2 years at ESA he was the Payload Operations Engineer for the OPS-SAT Mission and responsible for Mission Automation and payload commissioning of Europe's first hardware/software laboratory in Low Earth Orbit.
