Tim Tilford received the B.Eng. degree in aeronautical engineering from the Queen Mary College, University of London, London, U.K., in 1998, and the master’s degree in computational fluid dynamics and the Ph.D. degree in computational mechanics from the University of Greenwich, London, in 1999 and 2013, respectively. He has been a Research Fellow and subsequently a Senior Lecturer with the University of Greenwich, since 2002. He is a fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, a Chartered Mathematician, and a Chartered Scientist. His current research interests include numerical analysis of multiphysics/multiscale problems and high-performance parallel computing.
