个人简介
His research bridges gaps between prospect theory and money attitudes. Prof. Tang is best known for his research on the love of money and Monetary wisdom (MW). Monetary wisdom asserts: Individuals apply their monetary values to frame critical concerns in the proximal and omnibus context and strategically select options to maximize expected utility and/or ultimate happiness. He expanded it to the Matthew Effect in Monetary Wisdom, a multi-level theory that works across people, contexts, and time at the individual, organization-industry, and country-global levels. Researchers have empirically substantiated his love of money scale, and the Monetary Wisdom construct in more than 50 countries across six continents worldwide.
