Bio
His current scientific interests include femtosecond thin disk lasers, multigigahertz repetition rate lasers, modelocked VECSELs and MIXSELs, and their applications in nonlinear optics and high field science. He is the author of more than 40 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and two book chapters. His several patents are pending.,Dr. Sudmeyer has been a coordinator of the FP6 European Project MULTIWAVE. He serves the optical community in various conference committees and as an Associate Editor for Optics Express.
