个人简介
Thomas Ewald studied electrical engineering with focus on energy conversion technology and received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Munich, Germany, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. Since November 2019, he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the Laboratory for High Power Electronic Systems, ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, working on analytical inductor models and automated optimization processes.
His master's thesis was on developing an analytical model for simulating transient processes in both permanent magnet and electrically excited synchronous machines, which he completed with the R&D Department for Electrical Drive Components, BMW AG, in 2017.
