个人简介
I am scientist who works in pure and applied biology. My main study organisms are termites, though I have worked with ants, cockroaches, spiders, abalone, limpets and plankton.
I have research skills in experimental design, statistical analysis, scientific writing for publication and applying for grants. My major research discoveries have included how termites can determine the size of wood using vibrations from their chewing, to explaing how mother spiders benefit by being eaten by their young, to designing more effective bait stations for termite pest control, to improving farm soils and crop productivity with ants and termites.
