Bio
Eng. Tasnim Basmaji received her B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering in August 2018 and her M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in February 2020 from Abu Dhabi University. She was the female recipient of the Overall Excellence Award of the College of Engineering at Abu Dhabi University in 2018, and she led her team to develop a smart mobile mental health monitoring system. Her master’s thesis is focused on AI-based approaches for industrial health monitoring and assessment. She is also the first place winner for two years in a row in the national EGA’s AI and Robotics competition. Her research interests include artificial intelligence and robotics, embedded systems, the internet of things, and cyber security.
