Tao Jia

Tao Jia received his B. S. and M. Eng. degrees in electrical engineering from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2001 and 2004, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC in 2008. His research interests include multicarrier CDMA, prediction and estimation of fading channels, and adaptive modulation techniques. After graduation, he joined The MathWorks Inc, Natick MA as a software engineer. Currently he is developing HDL verification and FPGA prototyping tools in MATLAB and Simulink. These tools automate HDL design verification using HDL simulators and FPGA-in-the-Loop testbenches.
