个人简介
Takeshi Hatanaka (M’15) received the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics and physics from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, in 2007.
In 2007, he joined the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 2007, where he held positions as an Assistant Professor and an Associate Professor. In 2016, he spent an 8-month sabbatical at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA. Since April 2018, he has an Associate Professor with Osaka University, Osaka, Japan. He has coauthored the book Passivity-Based Control and Estimation in Networked Robotics (Springer, 2015). His current research interests include networked robotics and energy management systems.
Dr. Hatanaka is a member of the Conference Editorial Board of IEEE CSS. He was a recipient of the Kimura Award in 2017, the Pioneer Award in 2014, the Outstanding Book Award in 2016, and the Outstanding Paper Awards in 2009 and 2015, all from SICE. He was also a recipient of the 10th Asian Control Conference Best Paper Prize Award in 2015. He serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology (TSCT) and SICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration (JCMSI).
