Bio
Leading the research group Plasma Material Interactions. Utilizing the unique high-flux linear plasma device Magnum-PSI we investigate how plasma affects materials under extreme loading conditions. The group focuses on many different aspects, e.g. examining how tungsten monoblocks will perform under ITER like steady-state and transient (ELMing) conditions, the power handling capabilities and core compatibility of liquid metals, and understanding how plasmas affect the lifetime of EUV optics.
