I am working as a postdoctoral fellow in a project involved investigating soybean drought tolerance traits, including phenotyping, as well as physiological, genetic, and molecular aspects. Our goal is to leverage Stable Isotope Traits to Improve Soybean Water Use Efficiency (WUE). For that we will dissect the physiological traits associated with WUE and identify putative genes associated with carbon isotope discrimination and oxygen isotope discrimination using our developed MAGIC population.
