Assistant professor in coastal engineering at TU Delft with a focus on understanding how sediment contributes to the robustness of our coasts and deltas against climate change. My research emphasizes quantifying sediment pathways and connectivity for strategic placement of sediment, via numerical modelling and field measurements. I completed my PhD and postdoc in Coastal Engineering at TU Delft, during which time I also worked as a consultant at Deltares.
