Research and Teaching Interests:
My research uses the principles and methods of developmental psychopathology to understand the origins, development, and outcomes associated with ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders. With a particular focus on longitudinal designs, we aim to: (1) identify risk factors (e.g., trait negative emotionality) for child behavior problems across multiple domains (e.g., family, peer, neuropsychological); (2) elucidate causal mechanisms underlying predictions of negative outcome; and (3) explore sex differences in conduct problems.
