Dr. Srikant is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing & EE at IIT Mandi. Prior to this he was at the Plant Sciences Institute at Iowa State University, working on machine learning, statistical analyses and manifold learning approaches to predictive phenotyping in maize. He also worked a postdoctoral research associate in the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Iowa State University. working in the exploration and development of informatics strategies for materials discovery and engineering. Srikant has a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University. His PhD research was recognized by the Outstanding Dissertation in Magnetism award in 2012 from the American Physical Society's Topical Group on Magnetism., as well as the Purdue Student Innovator award.
