Yong Shen

Yong Shen was born in Chongqing, China. He received the bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 1992, and the master’s and Ph.D. degrees in plasma physics from the Southwestern Institute of Physics, Chengdu, China, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He works with the Southwestern Institute of Physics and is honored to be a Professor. Currently, he is engaged in theoretical and simulation research on MHD equilibrium and instability, plasma waves, micro-turbulence, and its transport in tokamak plasmas.
