Shanglin Li

Shanglin Li (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China, in 2014, and the M.S. degree from Peking University, Beijing, China. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada. His research interests include simulation and optimization of the VCSEL-MMF link, the short-reach optical transmission inside the data center, and MMF mode selective excitation. He was the recipient of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologies (FRQNT) B2X Scholarship, the McGill Engineering Doctoral Award (MEDA), the McGill Graduate Excellence Fellowship Award, and the National Scholarship of China.
