个人简介
Shakeeb Abdullah (Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. and M.A.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Carleton University, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in high speed electronics and next generation communication methods. He worked with Knoll as a Mechanical Engineering Developer doing cost-benefit R&D and helping them redesign and update their methods and procedures for sanding, veneering, spray booth, and finishing lines. He did his co-op in AppZero (currently, VirtaMove) as a Software Engineering Student helping them redesign and develop their software GUI that was integrated into their integral product. He worked as a co-operative student and a contractor with the National Radio Services (formerly, Mobile Communication Unit) at the Government of Canada as a Wireless Systems Architect; where he was the Principle Developer for the P25 first responder (fire-fighters, medics, and law enforcers) coverage verification system. There he did coverage simulation, coverage analysis, various R&D projects; and he developed the first P25 federal coverage methodology prototype which is now integrated and being used across the provinces in Canada. He collaborated with Microsemi (currently, Microchip Corporation) during his Master’s as an Electrical IC Designer and is currently collaborating with the National Research Council in metamaterial/flexible antennas and ELPHIC in high-speed, high-frequency next generations communication methods.
