Since 2017 Sergio Jiménez Celorrio is a Ramón y Cajal fellow at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Previously, Sergio was a post-doc at the University of Melbourne and a Juan de la Cierva fellow at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona. From 2004 to 2013 Sergio was assistant lecturer at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid where he obtained the Distinguished Thesis Award 2011. Sergio is the recipient of the IJCAI 2016 distinguished paper award, co-organizer of the 7th International Planning Competition and program committee at several international conferences on Artificial Intelligence. His main research interests are automatic programming and the exploration of the synergies between automated planning and machine learning.
