个人简介
Over the last 10 years he has built a highly productive world-class research laboratory working at the forefront of stress biology and membrane transport research. During this period, he has revolutionised this field by introducing and demonstrating the power of the MIFE technique for non-invasive microelectrode ion flux measurements into stress biology research. Originating from the University of Tasmania, this technology has now become a routine tool and is adopted by at least 20 leading laboratories across the globe. His research group has dramatically expanded in recent years to become one of the largest groups at UTAS and currently includes three post-doctoral research fellows, 17 PhD and two MSc students.
