Sergei Rudenko received the Diploma degree in astronomy from Leningrad State University, Leningrad, Russia, and the Ph.D. degree in physics and mathematics from the Main Astronomical Observatory, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine, in 1988 and 2000, respectively. From 2001 to 2016, he was a Research Scientist with the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, Potsdam, Germany. Since 2016, he has been a Research Associate with the German Geodetic Research Institute (Deutsches Geodätisches Forschungsinstitut), Technische Universität München, Munich, Germany. His current research interests include space geodesy.
