Ségolène Olivier

Dr. Ségolène Olivier received the graduated degree from “Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie industrielles de la Ville de Paris”, in 1999. She received the Ph.D. degree in the field of photonics from the University of Paris, in 2002. From 1999 to 2005, she was involved in the development of integrated photonic crystal devices. She joined CEA-Leti in 2005, where she worked in the field of microelectronic interconnects before moving to optical data storage. Since 2012, she has been working in the field of silicon photonics on the development of integrated transmitters on silicon (including hybrid III–V on Si lasers) for datacom applications. From 2016 to 2019, she coordinated the H2020 European project COSMICC on the development of Tb/s Silicon photonics transmitters for CWDM communications in datacenters. She is currently responsible of the development of a silicon quantum photonics platform for European Quantera SQUARE Project. She is the author or coauthor of more than 100 papers in scientific journals and international conference proceedings and holds several patents.
