Sebastian Reineke was awarded the Professor-Schwabe-Prize in 2006 and the Emanuel-Goldberg-Prize in 2009, acknowledging his Diploma and Ph.D. thesis, respectively. In 2015, he was awarded with a Starting Grant of the European Research Council – the most prestigious award for excellence in research for young researchers. Between 2011 and 2013, he has been member of an advisory board of the US Department of Energy that develops the Multi-Year Program Plan for solid-state lighting. He has a 10+ years experience working in the field of organic semiconductors and has co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications (h-index of 30).
