Sebastian Meyer

Sebastian Meyer studied Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Applied Mechanics at the University of Magdeburg. He graduated in 2013 and joined the DLR Institute of Composite Structures and Adaptive Systems as a research engineer. He is in charge of the design, numerical mechanical analysis and environmental testing of ultra-lightweight deployable carbon fiber composite booms and their respective mechanisms. He was involved in EU projects such as De-Orbit Sail, DeployTech and the ESA project ADEO-1. Currently, he is working in the ADEO 2 and the GoSolAr project.
