Sebastian Kurtek (Senior Member, IEEE) received the PhD degree in biostatistics from Florida State University, in 2012. He is a professor of statistics with the Ohio State University. His research interests include statistical shape analysis, functional data analysis and statistics on manifolds, among others. His research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.
