Dr. Murphy is an Associate Professor of Research in the Department of Healthcare Policy & Research at the Weill Cornell Medical College. He is a trained health economist with expertise in chronic-condition management with an emphasis in substance use disorders and related conditions. Dr. Murphy’s research includes comparative economic evaluations alongside clinical trials and cohort studies, claims-based analyses, and evaluating determinants of treatment access, outcomes and adverse effects.
