Sean Brennan received the bachelor’s degree in physics and mechanical engineering from New Mexico State in 1997 and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 2002. He is currently a Professor with Penn State University, where he leads the Intelligent Vehicles and Systems Group (IVSG), whose research focuses on extensive use of mapped data in control, estimation, and data fusion, with nearly all projects spanning theory to practice.
