Scott Tilley received his BSE in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and his MS Aero-Astro Engineering from Stanford University. Scott has over 30 years of experience at SSL in the areas of attitude control, flight dynamics, spacecraft engineering, systems engineering, and mission operations. From 1988 to 1994, Scott led internal research and development work supporting NASA robotic servicing efforts and participated in multiple launch and flight operations. From 1995 to 2001, Scott operated within the Globalstar program engineering as Mission Contingency Director and Technical Director during the 13 launches that populated the LEO constellation. Since 2002, Scott participated in the development and roll out of critical, new spacecraft technologies such as EP, improved avionics systems, advanced inertial sensors and large flexible mesh reflectors. His experience includes Chief Engineer roles at SSL including USAF Polar Weather Comm, Psyche, ARRM, NeMO and PPE spacecraft studies and technical oversight on the Restore-L servicing program. Scott holds 10 patents in aerospace related technologies.
