In addition, Dr. Fung is a member of the University of Toronto Gastroenterology Residency Training Committee. Dr. Fung co-directs the Hepatology Fellowship program at University of Toronto and is the education director for the Toronto Center for Liver Disease. He serves on committees for the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver and volunteers for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has published several articles on the epidemiology and treatment of chronic hepatitis B and C and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Dr. Fung recently co-authored the Canadian national guidelines for the management of chronic HBV infection.
