Research is focused on polymer synthesis and characterization, organic coatings and extensively on investigating materials corrosion and corrosion inhibition mechanisms on conventional polycrystalline as well as nanocrystalline surfaces. Expertise in the use of electrochemistry techniques for corrosion monitoring; scanning probe and scanning electron microscopy to characterize corrosion morphology. Research effort has been recognized globally by over ninety publications in the area and several conference presentations. Currently I am interested in researches that will lead to the development of scale/corrosion inhibitor for carbonate reservoir steamflood wells.
