Sascha David

I am an internist, nephrologist and intensivist trained at Hannover Medical School in Germany between 2005 and 2014. I did a postdoctoral research fellowship from 2009-2011 in Boston, USA at Harvard Medical School in Samir Parikh Lab. Currently, I am the head of Medical Intensive care medicine at the University Hospital of Zurich. My major research interests lie in the molecular mechanisms of capillary leakage, plasma exchange in the ICU setting and the pathophysiology of ARDS.
