Sara Modanesi

Sara Modanesi was born in Tarquinia, Italy, in 1985. She received the M.Sc. degree (with excellence) in applied geology and the master’s degree (with excellence) in analysis and management of hydrological hazard from the Sapienza University of Rome, Roma, Italy, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. She is currently with the Research Institute of Geo-Hydrological Protection, National Research Council, Perugia, Italy. Her research interests include the validation and application of innovative satellite products for the improvement of hydrological modeling and drought monitoring.
