Saptarshi Chakraborty

Saptarshi Chakraborty received the bachelor's (B. Stat (Hons.)) degree in statistics in 2018 and the master's (M.Stat) degree in 2020 from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, both in first division with distinction. He is currently working toward the PhD degree with the Department of Statistics, University of California, Berkeley. Previously, he was a visiting scholar with the Department of Statistical Science, Duke University and also a summer exchange student at the Big Data Summer Institute, University of Michigan. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning theory, clustering, dimensionality reduction, optimal transport etc.
