Sandeep Joshi (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech degree in electronics and communication engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2006, the M.E. degree in communication engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Delhi, India, in 2019.
From July 2008 to December 2008, he was an Interim Intern with the Qualcomm India Private Limited, Hyderabad, India. From February 2009 to June 2009, he was a Senior Research Associate with the Evalueserve Private Limited, Gurgaon, India. From 2009 to 2011, he was a Faculty Member with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Jaypee Institute of Information and Technology University, Noida, India. From 2011 to 2014, he was a Founding Faculty Member with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Shiv Nadar University, Uttar Pradesh, India. From August 2019 to November 2019, he was an Early-Doc Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. From 2019 to 2020, he was a Chief Engineer with the Mobile Communications Research Group, Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore, Bengaluru, India. Since 2020, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. His research interests include communication theory, device-to-device communications, smart grid communications, molecular communications, and performance analysis of wireless communication systems.
