Sameh A. Lashen, MD (Ph.D.); is an Associate Professor of Hepatobiliary Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, the University of Alexandria since June 2020. He was graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Alexandria in 2005, and finished his residency program at Alexandria Main University Hospitals in 2009. Liver cirrhosis and its complications, non-alcoholic fatty liver, and hepatocellular cancer are the main focus of his research interest. Dr. Lashen is working now on research projects involving portal hypertension and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
