Saleh Taghvaeian received the B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in irrigation engineering from the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in irrigation engineering from Utah State University, in 2011. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Colorado State University, from 2011 to 2013. He then joined the Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Department, Oklahoma State University, as a State Water Resources Extension Specialist. In August 2022, he joined the Biological Systems Engineering Department, University of Nebraska, where he is currently serving as an Associate Professor. His research interests include sensor technologies for optimizing on-farm water management, irrigation scheduling, and crop water stress monitoring.
