Magnetism at different length scales :
We study Magnetism at different length scales by synthesizing magnetic materials using soft chemical methods as well as Physical vapour deposition methods such as PLD and Sputtering. Our research interests include the study of Phase Transitions, Magneto-electric coupling, magnetization reversal, exchange bias, Magnetic anisotropy, Magnetocaloric effect, Transport, Magneto-transport properties. Our model systems consist of magnetic nanoparticles, thin-films and bulk materials which have applications in Spintronics, Multiferroics and Magnetic refrigeration.
