Bio
Simon Rit received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the LIRIS Laboratory, Lumière University, Lyon, France, in 2007, with a focus on respiratory motion correction for cone-beam computed tomography (CT). He was then a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam, on the same topic. He is currently a CNRS Research Associate with the CREATIS Laboratory in Lyon, working on cone-beam CT reconstruction for image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), spectral CT, proton CT, and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT).
