Bio
Dr. Chui Shiu Hon is a clinical biochemist with two PhD degrees from the Chinese University of
Hong Kong (Clinical Biochemistry) and from the Hong Kong Baptist University (Chinese
Medicine). He has been Fellow of the Institute of Biochemical Sciences (FIBMS), UK (since
1977), Chartered Chemist (CChem) and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), UK
(since 1991), and Chartered Scientist of Royal Society of Chemistry (since 2006). He is an
Accredited Clinical Biochemist of the Hong Kong Society of Clinical Chemistry (since 1991)
and has been the Director and Consultant Clinical Biochemist of the Diagnostix Group of
Laboratories, Hong Kong. Being a registered Chinese medicine practitioner (CMP) in Hong
Kong, he is also the Director and a CMP at Modern TCM Ltd (a member of the Diagnostix
Group). Dr. Chui’s other appointments include the Director of International Society for Chinese
Medicine, Deputy Director of Macau Institute for Applied Research in Medicine and Health, and
Associate Professor of Faculty of Health Sciences of Macau University of Science Technology.
He is also President of the Association of Hong Kong Health Care Professionals and President of
Asia Anti-Aging Association.
