Ryo Takagi

Ryo Takagi was born in Fukuoka, Japan, in 1985. He received the B.S. degree, the M.S. degree in communications engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 2009, 2011, and 2015, respectively. From 2011 to 2012, he was an Electrical Engineer with TOTO Corp., Fukuoka. From 2013 to 2015, he was a JSPS Research Fellow with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Tohoku University, where he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Communications Engineering since 2015. His current research interests include cavitation-enhanced ultrasound treatment and ultrasonic image-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound treatment.
