Ryne P. Raffaelle

Ryne P. Raffaelle (M’12) received the B.S. and M.S. degree in physics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is currently a Professor of physics, microsystems engineering, and sustainability and the Vice President for Research and Associate Provost with the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY. Prior to his current position, he served as the Director of the National Center for Photovoltaics, National Renewable Energy Lab. Dr. Raffaelle is currently the Managing Editor of Progress in Photovoltaics and has served as a Visiting Researcher with Oak Ridge National Lab, Oak Ridge, TN, and the NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, OH.
