Rudolph L. Gleason Jr. received the B.S. degree in environmental engineering and the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida, Gainsville, FL, USA, in 1996 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor with a joint appointment with the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Biomedical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA. His current research interests include tissue biomechanics, growth and remodeling of vascular tissues, and grand challenges in global health.
