Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. After receiving his degree, he completed a 6-year urology residency program at the Department of Urology, Rabin Medical Center in Petah-Tikva, Israel. During his residency he performed a one-year research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York focused on studying the molecular and genetic basis of aggressive variants of renal cell carcinoma. After completing his residency, Dr. Mano performed a Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During his fellowship he continued his translational research on kidney cancer, focusing on the predictive ability of molecular findings while addressing limitations of intra-tumoral heterogeneity. After graduating from his fellowship in 2019, Dr. Mano joined the Urology faculty at Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Tel-Aviv Yafo, Israel. In addition to treating patients with urologic malignancies, Dr. Mano continues to perform clinical and translational research in the field of Urologic Oncology. His research is aimed at identifying clinical and molecular predictors of treatment outcome for kidney and bladder cancer and implementing them into clinical practice, with the goal of optimizing treatment choice for each individual patient.
