个人简介
Ronny Krashinsky is a research scientist at NVIDIA, where his work focuses on future architectures for throughput computing. Ronny received a B.S. with High Honors from UC Berkeley in 1999 and a Ph.D. from MIT in 2007, where his dissertation was honored with the Sprowls Award for outstanding doctoral thesis in Computer Science. At MIT, Ronny developed the vector-thread architecture, a hardware/software interface which unifies vector processing and fine-grained multithreading, and his paper introducing this concept was selected as an IEEE Micro Top Pick. Ronny also led the silicon implementation of the Scale vector-thread processor, a research chip selected as a DAC/ISSCC Student Design Contest winner. Prior to joining NVIDIA in December 2009, Ronny was a processor architect at Stream Processors, Inc.
