Rong Chen received the B.S. degree in applied physics and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the National University of Defense Technology, in 2004 and 2010, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Mechanics, National University of Defense Technology. His research interests and fields mainly include the experimental methods of impact dynamic of materials, dynamic response of materials, and the key mechanical problems in the process of explosive separation.
