Dr. Sur's research interests include antimicrobial use in kidney stone surgery, determining genetic causes of kidney stone disease, and minimizing radiation exposure for patients and health providers during endoscopic procedures. His work has appeared in medical and research publications, including Journal of Urology and Journal of Endourology. He has published numerous manuscripts and book chapters, and serves as content reviewer for the American Urological Association, Dr. Sur is also involved in several clinical trials. He has won awards recognizing his clinical and teaching excellence, including the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Award.
