个人简介
Roberto Francescon received the Telecommunications Engineering degree
in electrical engineering from the University of Padova, Padova, Italy, in 2015.
During the Master thesis he worked on vector quantization, motif extraction, and machine learning techniques for the
understanding of the signal evolution over time. He got involved in the Underwater communications field after the
graduation, by developing software modules for the DESERT Underwater framework. He joined many sea trials with the
NATO STO CMRE, La Spezia, Italy, and EvoLogics GmbH, Berlin, Germany. He also collaborated to programming the
framework that will run on the THEMO marine observatory, off the coast of Israel. He is currently a Research Engineer
at the SIGNET Lab (DEI), University of Padova, where his work involves software development for the DESERT Underwater
framework, and the development of new communication protocols and schemes for underwater networks.
