Dr. Scheller is the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Natural Resources at North Carolina State University (NCSU). He is also Professor of Landscape Ecology at in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources. He is the current President of the International Association for Landscape Ecology. He grew up in Minnesota and received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota and Masters and Doctoral degrees in Forest Ecology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
